Strawberry Festival

Continuing our long-standing tradition (of 2 years), we took Cecilia to a Strawberry Festival in Ipswich a couple weekends ago.

Shockingly, she ate wayyy more strawberries than she picked, despite signs everywhere asking people to not eat the strawberries before paying for them. Thankfully, the people at the checkout stand ignored all the red stains on Cecilia's mouth and shirt, as well as the red stains on all the other little kids that were there. :)

The funniest thing picking strawberries was that I would pick a nice big juicy strawberry, and I would ask Cecilia, "Can you put this in the box please?" Invariably, the answer would be "yeah, sure." She would take the strawberry out of my hand, and POP! Into her mouth it would go, and she would be laughing at me with a mouth full of strawberries. And in between taking strawberries out of my hand and eating them, she would go back to the box, and eat even more strawberries. She was literally eating them faster than I could pick them.

Then after picking strawberries, we had some fun looking at the goats, chickens, horses, cows and a huge huge pig on the farm. She even got to feed some of them:

There are not a huge number, but the full set of pictures can be found here.
