The Foot Book

Here's another book that we've read to her a bazillion times, and which she sometimes reads to us or monkey now.

Mother Goose

Cecilia loves this one book of nursery rhymes she has. We've read it to her so many times, she can recite a lot of them to us now. When we were New York, I managed to capture one of her "readings." This video is a little dark, and the first 90 seconds are a little repetitive before you get to the good stuff. :)

Classic Central Park

We went with Uncle Bruce to New York and had a classic Central Park day, which  we really needed given that we have been cooped up through a rough Winter. We started with brunch at Barney Greengrass and walked all the way to the zoo.

Cecilia got to see a real polar bear (Paddy's daddy), took a little time to really watch the animals, and then had a great time playing at the children's zoo. Everybody eventually was in short sleeves.enjoying a brisk but sunny early Spring day, which we ended with a bike taxi ride back through the park.

Swimming with Daddy!

So we enrolled Cecilia in swim class again this winter - what a perfect winter activity. This time Pete and I alternated who got to go in the water with her. She had fun the whole season! Every weekend we would ask her, "Cecilia, do you know where we're going today?" And she would yell "SWIMMING POOL!" :) The last session, they let us go in and take a few pictures at the end.

Cecilia got to ride on a big floating fish, which she loved!

The last day of class, they also let all the kids ride on one of the floating boats, which she also thought was a lot of fun!

Somehow, after a while, none of the other kids (or parents) wanted to use the boat anymore, so Cecilia got to ride by herself for a few laps around the lazy river.

Cecilia's New Raincoat!

We got Cecilia her first raincoat and she loves it. We took it for a test drive in New York on Sunday and got some great pictures of her at the monument across from my mom's house. Here are a few more.
